On the first visit to any Illinois Youth Center, the visitors will be required to have a photo identification, such as a driver's license, a state identification card, or acceptable documentation of non-US citizen including a current passport, Visa, or Matricula, and documentation that includes their social security numbers if US citizens, and date of birth.
Please have two forms of identification; one should be a photo ID for additional visits.

Facility Information
IYC- Pere Marquette is a level three, minimum security male facility with an open campus. IYC-Pere Marquette is the first step-down juvenile facility totally dedicated to reintegrating the youth back into the community. Youth benefit from more intense intervention, treatment-oriented programming, and community involvement which will ensure them an opportunity for a structured learning setting to assist them in developing positive life building skills. IYC-Pere Marquette does not house any special offender population.
