Facility Information
IYC - Warrenville serves juvenile female and male populations with multi-service needs. The center provides GED and high school diploma academic services, an in-patient substance abuse treatment program, vocational programs, mental health services, medical services, clinical services, leisure time activities, parenting education, assessments and family reunification programming.

NOTE: Please review IDJJ Visitation Rules and Information before visiting.
On the first visit to any Illinois Youth Center, the visitors will be required to have a photo identification, such as a driver's license, a state identification card, or acceptable documentation of non-US citizen including a current passport, Visa, or Matricula, and documentation that includes their social security numbers if US citizens, and date of birth.
Please have two forms of identification; one should be a photo ID for additional visits.

Electronic Visitation
IYC Warrenville offers free video calls, messaging, and voice calls through the Ameelio Connect app. You will need to set up an Ameelio Connect account and have visits approved by IYC Warrenville in order to participate in electronic visits. Directions are below.

Step 1: Download the Ameelio Connect app

Computers: Unfortunately, Ameelio Connect is unavailable on computers at this time.
Step 2: Create and verify your account
For this step, you will be asked to submit pictures of a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or a passport. Only IDJJ visitation staff will have access to your documents.
Step 3: Add your youth as a contact
After you submit your photos, you can add your youth by clicking ‘Request Contact’. Select IYC Warrenville and search by their last name or ID number. If the youth has listed you on their contact list and your ID photos are cleared, IYC Warrenville will approve you in the app and you can start communicating with your youth. If there are any issues, we’ll notify you in the app of what needs to be done.
Age requirements: Please note that all individuals 13 years or older are required to have their own Ameelio Connect account if participating in a video call and must be registered as approved visitors by IYC Warrenville.
