Resources
The Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice utilizes many resources and external research to accomplish the mission of building youth skills and strengthening families to promote community safety and positive youth outcomes.
The Summit of Hope is a community expo organized by the Illinois Dept. of Corrections, bringing together local service providers to create a "one-stop" environment for justice-involved individuals to obtain assistance and connect to resources. IDJJ encourages youth and families to attend and invites service providers to participate in this event that immediately follows the DOC Summit of Hope.
The mission of the Summit of Hope is to guide and assist justice-involved youth with available services to better ensure reintegration into the community and thus reduce recidivism.
