Glencliffe Academy Alternative High School
Glencliffe Academy Alternative High School is a year-round all-boys school that serves young men ages 13-21 who are residents of IYC Pere Marquette. We offer a full high school curriculum using Pearson Connexus format along with supplemental learning activities for all students. We also offer a GED Program for those who qualify. Our school includes a fully staffed Special Education Department to meet individualized needs of students.
Additionally, we have a partnership with Lewis and Clark Community College. Lewis and Clark Community College offers a Youth Build Program for our graduates who are interested. Through the Youth Build Program our graduates are able to participate in a pre-apprentice construction program, whereby they are able to obtain an OSHA 10, CPR/FirstAid, and Flagger certifications.
The school's library houses shelves and shelves of reading material that allow our students to further expand their educational experience through leisure reading as needed.
Language Live is one of our newer programs. This program is a literacy program that assists students in improving their literacy skills to move forward academically.
